Carlton Village Quiz

The time is approaching for the Annual Carlton Village Quiz and we are inviting YOU to enter a team (or teams!)

The details are as follows:-

Quiz Night              Saturday April 21st. Doors open 7.30 for 8.00pm start.

The Teams             Will consist of 4 people. A special prize will be awarded to the team with the most imaginative name!

Cannot make up a complete team?   Enter your name/names anyway! You will be 

                                                           prospective members of a new team - the Etceteras     

Admission              £3.00 per person (£12 per team)

Refreshments        There will be an interval after the fifth round of the quiz when tea and coffee will be available (free to all competitors).

                                 As in previous years you are welcome to bring along food and, of course, a bottle (or two or three) to inspire your team.

Raffle                      Tickets at £1 a strip will be on sale when you arrive and the draw will take place during the refreshment break.

                                 If you would like to donate a raffle prize it will be most welcome, remember the profits from the quiz are used to support local charities.

The Quiz                 Will comprise 10 rounds, 2 with 10 questions and 8 with

                              5 questions. Questions are answered by the team as a group.

The Trophy             Will be awarded to the winning team and be held until the time of the next quiz. Individual trophies will be awarded to each member of the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd placed teams.

Money raised         Will be donated to village charities. Suggestions welcome!

The Carlton Village Quiz is good fun but to be successful it needs teams to be quizzed ! So, if you can, ENTER and if you have any friends who you think might enjoy a Quiz try ‘nudging’ them into entering as well. The more teams the better.

Please let us have your team’s completed entry form by Wednesday April 18^th (earlier if possible to prevent the organisers panicking !)
