Minutes of meeting for March 8th agreed and signed as a true record.
Grass Cutting Tender
Tender for the cutting of the grass in the village was discussed from Mr. C. Horne. It was agreed that the tender be accepted.
Lantern for new Street Light
A brochure detailing the type of lanterns now available was received from Highways Partnership. All councillors agreed that these were not in keeping with the rest of the village. Cllr. Benson will look into the other alternatives.

B.B.C. – Sport & Physical Activity conference being held on Thursday 22nd April from 9.30 – 14.00 at Haynes Village Hall. Declined.
CPRE – invitation to the A.G.M. being held on the 28th April at 7.30pm at Toddington Village Hall. Declined.
BRCC – Invitation to enter Calor’s Bedfordshire Village of the Year 2004 competition. Declined.
CPRE - Invitation to a One Day Skills Seminar on Saturday 8th May from 9.45- 16.45 at Bromham Village Hall. Declined.
B.B.C. –Request for the Clerk to under take the display of election notices. Accepted.
B.B.C. – Cllr. Tusting read letter received regarding expanding the Village envelope, it was agreed that this should be an item on the agenda for next month.

Seven cheques prepared for signature, Miss G Forde £218.50 for salary, Miss G Forde £28.44 for expenses, Glasdon £537.03 for new seat and bin, McAlpine £144.61 for street light maintenance, B.B.C. £73.76 for election fees, Mr. C. Horne £420.66 for grass cutting and Mr. W. Crammen £150.00 for handyman duties.

General Village Matters
Items to be included in next months agenda, Harrold Forum and Co-op village youth on to the Parish Council.
Cllr. Chapman requested that a donation from the Pariah Council be made to go towards the cost of protective equipment for the swimming pool. All councillors agreed on a donation of £350.00.
